FERN MARY lll was the last yacht designed by F C Morgan-Giles for Major Arthur Waycott and Mrs Waycott and was designed as a Ketch. Major Waycott was was Commodore of the Torbay Yacht Club.
Renamed MARY OF DORSET in 1963.
Between 1969 and 1977 she was owned by Rear Admiral Sir Morgan Morgan-Giles. Son of the designer Frank Morgan-Giles.
Now owned by Candace Martin who purchased her in England for a Womens sailing school in the USA. Renamed SOJOURNER TRUTH she is being completely restored by her current owner in Rockport, Maine USA after sailing tens of thousands of miles between New England and the Caribbean.
