Known History

NIMBLE is one of three of this class designed and built by Morgan Giles in 1948.

NIMBLE is basically a scaled down version of the West Channel class, referred to by the Morgan Giles yard as 'Quay Punts'.

This West of England 2.5 ton sloop was lovingly restored in 2003.

The owner of Nimble has now restored her and she is back in the water on the River Yealm.
