Known History

This boat was built as one of six designed and built by Morgan Giles in 1946.  Initially a prototype was built and subsequently a series of five. Initially this boat belonged to the SRS Endurance, Maidenhead until 2003.  Transferred then to the Sea Ranger Boating Base fleet at Rose Cottage on the Cliveden House Estate.

in 2008 she was in need of restoration.  The Dockland Scout Project offered to do the work and spent many hours restoring her with skill, art and a love of boats to her former glory

2023 and WATERWITCH is going for substantial restoration by 'Ship to Shore' at Boathouse 4 in Portsmouth Dockyard.
